Calculator information
Inputs entered into all OwnerClarify calculators are processed locally in the browser. This applies to every calculator currently listed in the tools directory, including English and Spanish versions. Calculator input values are not included in the product events described below.
Site operator
OwnerClarify is a project of Menu Rescue LLC, a Washington limited liability company. Menu Rescue LLC is the site operator for the purposes described in this policy.
Basic site operation
A hosting provider may process standard technical data needed to deliver and secure the site, such as IP address, browser information, requested pages, timestamps, and diagnostic logs. Retention and processing depend on the provider's operational and security practices. Calculator inputs are not intentionally included in those requests by the current build.
Privacy-conscious product analytics
OwnerClarify records limited first-party events such as pages viewed, decision categories selected, tools opened, tools started, valid results generated, and copy, print, and reset actions. These events help the owner understand which decisions are useful and where people abandon a workflow. They do not contain your name, full IP address, or the financial values you enter into a calculator.
A randomly generated anonymous identifier is stored in your browser so one visit and its tool journey can be counted without an account. It expires after 30 minutes of inactivity and is then replaced. If browser storage is unavailable, the identifier lasts only for the current page session. We also reduce the browser user agent to a broad device class such as mobile, tablet, or desktop and may store the referring website's domain without its full URL.
Your analytics preference
You can exclude automatic page and calculator events in this browser. This preference is stored locally and must be set separately on each browser and site address. Clearing browser storage clears the preference. It does not delete earlier records or prevent hosting logs. Decision requests you intentionally submit are still stored and counted.
This setting applies to this browser and site address. Exclude your visits before testing public pages. It does not remove past activity or stop a decision request you choose to submit.
Analytics retention
Raw product events currently remain in the analytics database; automatic deletion is not yet enabled. The dashboard normally reports the last 30 days. That reporting window does not delete older events.
Decision requests and optional email
If you use the suggestion box, OwnerClarify stores the decision you describe and the industry you select. Email is optional and is stored only when you explicitly ask to be notified if the request becomes a tool. Submitting a decision request does not subscribe you to a newsletter.
Decision requests and any optional email address are retained while OwnerClarify reviews demand and plans its tool roadmap. You may ask us to delete a request by emailing hello@ownerclarify.com from the same address you submitted and describing the request closely enough for us to locate it. Requests submitted without an email address are anonymous and may not be identifiable for individual deletion.
Advertising and third-party analytics
The current release does not include AdSense, third-party analytics, affiliate tracking, or newsletter signup. If those services are added, this policy and any necessary consent controls will be updated before they are enabled. Third-party providers may use cookies or similar technologies under their own policies.
